Microbiology Research Facility
Twin Cities Campus
This project constructed the fourth and final building in the Biomedical Facilities Program. It is funded 75% by the Minnesota Legislature and 25% by the University of Minnesota. The four-story, 89,000 sf Microbiology Research Facility is located to the north of and connected to the Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building on the ground and first floors. The facility houses laboratories, offices, and collaborative work spaces for faculty, staff, and graduate students of the Department of Microbiology. The budget reflects the amount remaining in the original $292 million program.
