All owner provided equipment installed and operational. Construction and commissioning activities are both 100% complete. Full use of facility pending APHIS ceritification scheduled for early May.
December 2007
Growth chambers arrived this month and are being installed. APHIS certification is tentatively scheduled for Feb/Mar, 2008 after all equipment is in place and final control adjustments are completed. The construction for the project is 99% complete. Commissioning is 99% complete.
September 2007
Owner purchased equipment has arrived and been installed. Final hookups are ongoing. Only equipment remaining is growth chambers which will arrive in December (this should not affect APHIS certification of the building). Most of the construction for the project is complete this month excluding the site work.
July 2007
Waste decontamination system installation was completed, system was tested, staff training was provided. HVAC system basic installation was completed and system is now operational on a interim basis. Some of the Owner purchased equipment started to arrive on site.
May 2007
Installation of pre-fabricated greenhouses will begin this month. Walk-in misting chambers have been delivered to project site. Mechanical and electrical systems installation continues.
April 2007
Building exterior is complete. Interior wall construction is being finalized. Mechanical and electrical systems installation is ongoing. Pre-fabricated greenhouses are in the design and fabrication process, while additional operating equipment is being delivered for installation in the near future.
November 2006
Water main relocation work is complete. Site utility and foundation work is underway. Bid Package #1 permit has been issued. Bid Package #2 construction documents will be issued for permit in the immediate future.
