This project renovated and added approximately 19,280 gsf of laboratory, office, and conference room space at the CMRR building. Due to the complex nature of the existing building and location of the existing high-tesla magnets the project includes three small separate additions; the project area includes 17,306 sf of additions on the main level and 1,972 sf of interior improvements required to accommodate these additions. The new spaces support the MDT’s Optical Imaging program as well as the original mission of CMRR in magnetic resonance research.
