Twin Cities Campus | East Bank

The North Church Street Corridor Reconstruction project includes removal and reconstruction of the plaza and green spaces within this corridor to enhance the University of Minnesota's goal in creating a safe and welcoming campus. This corridor will strengthen pedestrian zones in the campus core, increase and optimize bicycle parking areas, create outdoor gathering areas, and provide outdoor Wi-Fi. The project also focuses on renewing critical utilities infrastructure, improving stormwater management, and providing adequate site lighting.
